Today, I’ll be sharing my Psychotic pre workout review with you guys.
It’s one of the more popular products on the market right now, so if you’re thinking about buying it, make sure to keep reading.

Psychotic Pre Workout Review: Effects & Results
Before I continue it’s important to know that this is my own personal experience. You might not feel the same benefits since everybody reacts differently to the ingredients in pre-workout supplements.
When I test a new product, I always stick to the recommended dosage. That means if you’re going to take the psychotic pre-workout, stick to one scoop.
I went with the flavor cotton candy and found it to be pretty good, 7/10 if you ask me.
Now, I took the scoop 20 minutes before going arriving at the gym. The first thing I noticed was a huge rush in energy which obviously felt great as I was getting ready to lift.
Once I was doing my workout, the pumps were alright, nothing too special. I was able to squeeze out a few extra reps here and there.
The main thing I really felt was the extreme energy rush. I had gotten really hyped up to start my workout when I took it. It’s mainly caused by the many different stimulants in this product.
All in all, the experience was alright. I did notice a slight crash after it wore off. But, that’s the case with many pre’s.
Psychotic Pre Workout Review: Ingredients
Psychotic contains a proprietary blend that contains a total of 4459mg per scoop. It contains the following ingredients:
- Beta-Alanine
- Creatine Monohydrate
- Caffeine Anhydrous
- AMPiberry
- Hordenine HCI
- Dimethylethanolamine
- Rauwolfia Vomitoria Extract
- Huperzine Serrata Leaf Extract
It contains a total of 8 different ingredients. Most of them are very popular and often found in other pre-workout products as well.
For example, Beta-Alanine is added to help give you a better pump during a workout. It’s also beneficial for endurance, strength, and might even support muscle growth. It’s also the stuff that makes your body itch.
In my opinion, it contains a good set of ingredients. I would’ve like to see a few more pump ingredients in there. For me, the energy rush and pump are the most important factors for taking supplements like these.
The total serving size of one scoop is 5.9 grams because there are also other ingredients added for flavoring. Those ingredients include Citric acid, Sucralose, and stuff like that.
Psychotic Pre Workout Review: Side Effects
Since Psychotic is considered to be quite a high stimulant pre workout, some users could experience side effects if they aren’t used to taking stimulants.
Side effects can and might include anxiety, insomnia, rapid heart rate, and headaches. Personally, I didn’t experience any of these side effects. But, I’m used to taking these types of products with caffeine and other stimulants.
That is why it’s highly recommended to start out with just half a scoop, just to be safe. You don’t want to take one full scoop right away if you aren’t used to stimulants.
You’ll probably end up feeling horrible and skipping your workout if it’s too much. Be smart, begin with 1/2 scoop and once you feel comfortable enough, you can increase it to 3/4 a scoop or even a full scoop.
Is The Psychotic Pre Workout Banned?
As far as we know, this stuff isn’t banned and you can buy it from a lot of different retailers. You can even get it from their official website.
Do I Recommend Psychotic Pre Workout?
I wasn’t disappointed by the effects of the psychotic pre workout. However, what I didn’t like is that this product contains a proprietary blend.
That means you don’t know how much of each ingredient was added into this formula. For example, it doesn’t tell you how much caffeine there is in one serving.
In my opinion, it’s a pretty decent pre-workout for the more experienced PWO users out there. But, I’m more of a fan of pre-workouts like Wrecked.
I found Wrecked by Huge Nutrition to be a better pre-workout compared to other ones such as Psychotic.
Wrecked has a 21.1 gram serving size per scoop and since the Psychotic pre workout only has 5.9 grams, you’re getting nearly 4x as much.
So long story short, Psychotic is a decent pre-workout for boosting energy, pumps, and workout intensity.
I’ll keep using it every now and then, but Wrecked is my favorite if I really want to get a good workout in. Click here to read more about Wrecked.
Conclusion
The psychotic pre-workout has gotten a lot of attention over the last few months. It’s a pretty potent product that is mainly used by those that are looking to get in a good workout.
It can help with improving energy, pump, and strength. For new users, start out with just half of a scoop to assess tolerance. This is due to the large number of stimulants.
I found it to get the job done but I’m convinced that there are better alternatives out there.
My advice would be to check out a product like Wrecked. It’s got a lot bigger serving size which equals better workouts and a better bang for your buck.
